Call for Presentations
Instrumentation in Reversal Theory Conference
Baton Rouge, Louisiana on January 7th and 8th, 2008.
Please send presentations and/or ideas for a meeting "Instrumentation
in Reversal Theory" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on January 7th and 8th,
2008. The meeting is to be held in the UCT building at 11757 Florida
Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70815-2013. The meeting will follow
the same informal approach used in Baton Rouge in 2004 and Shreveport in
2006.
Participants are invited to bring presentations of completed work
and/or developing ideas for discussion. As the meeting is small, the
intent is to provide substantive discussions and feedback. Discussions
of instruments, measurement issues (both practical and theoretical), and
the use of technology are expected. Please encourage interested students
and colleagues to attend. Michael and Mitzi have volunteered to provide
the donuts Monday morning where we have planned a late morning start.
They are trying to arrange a place for dinner together Monday evening,
where we will have a chance to visit. For lunch on Tuesday the plan is
to collect 15 dollars or so from each attendee so we can pick up some
local Baton Rouge po-boys and drinks. Tuesday we will meet until the
presentations are finished.
Please send a title for your presentation or topic to: Dale Pease at
dale6839@earthlink.net. Please provide an indication of the length
of time needed and the nature of the contribution. (Is it a completed
project, a work in progress, or is it an idea in the formative stages?)
The number and nature of the presentations will largely guide our
schedule. We will have an LCD projector for Powerpoint type projection.
If your A/V needs differ please let us know.
